The Athlete allows the therapist to sit close to the table when carrying out seated treatments, and offers unrivalled access with the same incredible comfort as other tables thanks to Affinity Therafoam padding.

The lifting backrest on the Athlete means it is also perfect for seated treatments and consultations thanks to a sculpted body and easy-access Reiki end panels. You can easily reach the head or feet of your patient while tucking your knees under the table.

It’s very lightweight too, making it ideal for mobile therapists and it is extremely comfortable for clients offering a firm but luxurious feel.

Portholes are included to extend with the face cradle and arm rest, and Therafoam padding throughout the couch as standard.

The height is easily adjustable thanks to push-button controls on each leg, and the table can be setup in around 10 seconds.

This couch also includes a removable breathe hole and bung for both supine and prone positions, and handy protective carry case which the table easily folds up into. The face cradle and carry case can be tucked inside the table for storage.

If you do not need a lifting backrest, you may like to look at the Affinity 8 Advanced Massage Table which offers similar features without the lifting backrest meaning a lighter overall weight.

Tip: you can use most standard couch covers on this tapered table by using ironing board or similar clips on the central section of the couch to draw the sides in. You can also use clips to pin the cover down when the lifting backrest is up.
